I fed my dog chocolate can someone help?

I fed my dog some chocolate and now its having something similar to a siezure, what do i do?

Immediatly rush to vet instead of asking us fopr help. give him plenty of water and make sure you try to keep him cool as you take to vet since chocolate causes them to have a temperture rush and die.

Why did you do that, i could understand if the dog got into some chocolate by accident but you really just gave it chocolate! you are retarded.

it actually takes quite a bit of Chocolate to poison a dog there could be an underlying condition that may have been triggered by the Chocolate but either way get off you computer and off you ass and get it to the vet right now go!!!!!!

Ummm helloooo??? Chocolate is one of the WORST things you can give to your dog. Take it to the vet immediately. It could die. :o

How big is the dog and how much did it eat? It should not have a seizure from only eating a small amount. Take the dog to the vet right away! I had a doberman pincher and it ate 16 candy bars that my cat knocked on the floor. The dog threw up large amounts in 12 spots all over the house. The dog was very lethargic that night, but the next day he was back to normal.

How much did you feed him/her. chocolale is poisonous to dogs but it has to be a lot to cause anything more than diarrhea. You need to see a Vet.

Only very large amounts of chocolate will hurt a dog actually, a bit of chocolate wont do anything except maybe give him a stomach ache. If you gave him like two lbs of chocolate then that would hurt him but otherwise just a small piece of chocolate wont give your dog a seizure. therefore if your dog is having a seizure you shouldnt be sitting online adn watching it happen you should probably be taking him somewhere to get looked at for whatever brain defect he has.
