What is the worst thing to feed a horse?

I no for dogs its chocolate or grapes, but what bout horses?

Horse.

Ragwort, a weed found in many fields where horses roam, in the UK alone it kills about 6,500 horses a year.

Cyanide will kill it in a short time.....I doubt you could get a horse to eat raw cyanide...

There's lots of poisonous plants and such, but don't feed your horse sugar. It's really, really bad for them and can give them colic.

Just in reply to a post. Raw Cyanide can be found in cherry trees - often found in horses paddocks.

i think its sugar for most animals... but lots of people feed sugar to horses (in moderation) and they are fine. hmm good quesiont, but i tihnk im going to go with meagan, i dont think poison will be too good for a horse.

One thing I know is not to feed them freshly mowed grass. There tummys are sensetive and the mowed grass will give them colic.
