How much does an Oriental long hair kitten/full grown cat cost?

I do not care what color it is I just would like an estimate. I am not planning on buying on from a shelter. Probably one from a breeder or store.

You're not going to get an Oriental long hair cat or kitten from a shelter or a pet store - you may get a slender long haired cat, but not the real thing. Oriental short hairs are not the most common of cats, and the long haired version is downright scarce. There are only 4 breeders in the country who are listed on CFA's web site. Expect a long waiting list for a kitten, and probably a price tag of $1000 or more. If you see one advertised in a shelter, a pet store, or any classified add, you can be sure that you are not getting what you are looking for, just a cat with a phony name tagged on to it. Check out CFA's breeder search tool, and you can find the few breeders involved in this breed. While I have seen tons of OSH's at cat shows, I have yet to see the long haired version.
