Will there ever be a way to correct a dogs vision?
If, ofcourse, the dog's vision is failing. Would they have a way to check how bad it is?What about Lysic? Can that be done on dogs?

they see if he/she is responsive to light. they use a little flashlight thing and flash it in or near its eyes and if he doesnt flinch, blink, or try to find the light most likely if not defidently he/she is blind. theres really no correction avalible
That's what veterinary ophthalmoligists are for. Ask your vet to refer you to see one if you want to learn more about saving your dog's vision or testing how bad it is.
Yes, the vet can use a special light which enables them to see the back of the eye. If it is simply cataracts then they are operable. Not sure about other more serious conditions, that would need to be done by a specialist.
