What should I do about my dog's skin condition?

My dog has started biting herself and now she has "hot spots" (that's what the groomer called them)...they are sports without any fur. She has basically bit herself raw I am not sure what I can do about it. I have tried anti-itch spray and started giving her fish pills. She still chews on herself. Her skin has become extremely dry and has some scabs where she over-bites. What can I do?Also, to the person that thinks that I am biting my dog -- I AM NOT. She is biting herself because she is feeling itchy. You are sick, dude. and PS, I am not FORCING her to eat fish pills. She LOVES them and they are really healthy for dogs AND humans.
