Where can i find Akita inu breeders in the uk?

I have ben researching into Japanese Akita Inu dogs, and i would love to purchase one some time in the future. But all of the Akita breeders in the uk seem to be breeding the American Akita. I would Much prefer the Japanese breed but i cant find a breeder. (i understand that they are registered as the same breed in some countries)

They do seem to be rare. You may find you need to travel, and if this is really the breed you want, bur can't find a breeder you like, you might have to import one from further a field.
