Does any one know of an Akita Inu breeder in the USA?

I am looking to purchase an Akita Inu but cant seem to find any breeders in the USA. Thanks for your help in advanced.

You are either talking about an Akita OR a Shiba Inu.

Good choice of breed! Ignore the ignorant people who do not know what an Akita INU is. To those people, the (JAPANESE) AKITA INU is a separate breed from the AKITA (AMERICAN) according to the FCI, the JKC, the KC, and every other Kennel Club in the world besides American and Canda.Anyway, there are a few genuine Akita Inu breeders in the USA.
