    • The only thing that will work is a visual barrier so they can't see each other. My dogs do this on all 4 sides of this property. There are close to 20 dogs just in about 11 houses here, & when one starts barking they all chip in.The best thing that I know of is to use corrugated galvanized panels. You will probably have to up up to 6 feet cause at 4 feet they can stand on their hind legs & yap at each other. See if you can split the costs with the neighbor. Lay them length wise & work up. Oh, yeah, you will need posts.

    • Supervise your dog while he/she is outside. Try putting him on one of those extending leashes and control where he goes. A shock collar won't be any use, all they do is confuse your dog. They not any aid to correct, humane dog training. It sounds as if your dog has been out in the yard too long without any supervision or training. You now have the task of correcting his bad habits.

    • My dog runs along the fence line with the neighbor's dog, causing muddy ruts in the yard. Also, when they do this, they try to get to each other through the fence, making holes in the fence. On two occasions, the neighbor's dog has bitten my dog through our privacy fence. Any suggestions?
