How often should my puppy get vaccinated?

We adopted my little Daisy about 3 weeks ago. We bought the 5 in 1 shot and gave it to her today. (FIRST TIME) She is about 12 weeks old now. She has been dewormed by a vet, taking vitamins, and antibiotics by a vet. She is a terrier/fiest mix and stays indoors 99% of the time. The only time she is outside is when we take her out to go.

she should get 2 more of the 5-in-1 shots, 3 weeks apart and a rabies shot. In our state they start giving a rabies shot at 3 months.

When starting vaccines at a younger age, they are given 3 shots, as the first may not be effective due to maternal immunity. Then, depending on who you believe, either a booster every year, or a booster 3-7 years later. Current research shows that dogs maintain immunity for 3-10 years after proper vaccination, and that overvaccination causes cancers and other health problems.
