Does anyone make their own dog food for Chihuahuas?

I am concerned with the dog food recall and want to start making my own dog food. My Chihuahua is 3 1/2 lbs.

Alot of people make their own food for their dogs. Also, there are a lot of diets that are considered more natural that I don't think had to deal with this problem that other food brands are. These all natural diets are supposed to be top notch, all natural, or organic, but I would always check the labels and reputation of the companies.
