How to keep fleas away from my pup?

I had my puppy for about 7 months, and recently I found 3 fleas on him when I was giving him a bath. Today, I found some flea droppings under his chin. Is there a way I can keep the fleas away from him. He lives inside our house. How can I keep these fleas away from him? What is this Frontline and Advantage thing?

if u have no pup u have no fleas. to get rid of the puppy just get out the old 12 gauge and take the puppy outside

Get Frontline Plus, that's good and will rid your dog of fleas. A bath probably wouldn't hurt either

Shoot the fleas with a pistol.Lol, jk, get some anti-flea shampoo and a flea collar.

I recommend Frontline. It may be expensive, but it works VERY well. Flea collars and flea shampoo only work for a while. You can also use a flea comb to get rid of quite a few. But make sure you buy a good one that has it's combs close together.

The flea droppings you see are actually flea eggs.Do they look like tiny black crumbs?Those are just flea eggs, and I'd get those off, because they hatch a lot.Get a flea collar, I wouldn't do the medicine stuff, because it stinks, and the dog's fur gets all.. greasy and stuff. :P:)Good luck!

yes one of those medications is good, still go to your vet, but i found out that adding garlic powder (no salt) to the food keeps the fleas away

Frontline works awesome. Its a little expensive but it last a while. I use it on my Great Dane (which he has to have double of the large dose) But you just put it on their backs and he is good to go. It works well against fleas and ticks.

Try x2 Brewers Yeast tablets and x1 Garlic Pearl daily, they are great for keeping most parasites away.

flea collar you can pick one up at walmart, petco, any pet store $10-12

There's a type of flea medication you can buy. I think you put it on the pups neck. Good Luck!
