Will my puppy be ok since I gave him this flee stuff?

I have a 9 week old puppy and I accidentally gave him the flee thingy like Frontline or Advantage but it was for 6 months+. He seems ok and I gave him a bath and he looks way better.

Thanks!I just got him Monday night so I don't know allot about dogs sorry about the spelling error. I will keep an eye on him and if there are any changes in his behavior I will call my vet.

That's something you need to discuss with your vet. If you washed it off immediately, he'll probably be fine, but I can't say for sure

Wash it off with Dawn, flea meds are a oily substance and dawn will get rid of it of most of it that has not be absorbed.. Then call your vet.Don't use Dawn as a regular shampoo, always use a dog shampoo

First- Flea-not-flee-If you are responsible enough to own a dog then you really need to read the packaging-You may have dodged a bullet this time- it could have caused serious mental damage or even death-Please- the dogs life is in your hands- be more careful-Sounds like he might be fine- keep a watch for any vomiting-shaking-seizure activity- lethargy-Please again read the package.If any of the previous occurres get to the vet immediately.

Since you have a 9 week old pup, you'll be seeing your vet on a regular basis, so why not ask at the next visit.BTW, it's spelled FLEA.
