    • I would book an appointment with your vet in say a week or two.. they will be able to tell and at the same time give you pointers for proper nutrition and such if she is.Good luck :)

    • Those are all good signs that she is preg!! But she had to be in heat the time she got out. She might just be happy to be home. My female became a doggy doorstop the first two weeks of her pregnancy. She would sleep on the couch and roll right off it and then instead of getting up she would go back to sleep on the floor. she would lay anywhere it was cool and would not move unless you actually picked her up!!! BUT BUT BUT you won't be able to tell for sure for another 5 to 7 weeks. You normally start seeing signs around the 6th week. such as her filling out or her boobies getting bigger. But only a vet can tell you 100% if she is or isn't. Some females WANT to be preg so they go through ALL the symptoms without ever giving birth! As for the father being bigger than the mother....you need to take her to the vet. Depending on the size difference she might need a C-Sec. If the puppies heads are larger and can't pass through the birth canal than they could get stuck and if untreated could kill your female. but I have to ask are you 100% positive that the father dog? Your vet might recommend an ultrasound to see how the puppies are developing and how big they are before she gives birth.

    • What's "pregnate"? Is that anything like "pregnant"?By "friday the 13" do you mean "Friday the 13th"?People, PLEASE start paying attention in English class!

    • If she is pregnant then you need to tell the vet that the father is a big dog. I had neighbors who had a little dog that got pregnant by a bigger dog and she died with a puppy stuck inside of her because it was too big for her to birth naturally!

    • This is THE perfect time to get her spayed.. Your local shelter will be able to tell when and where there are low cost spays available..Really..it is the perfect time..If he is much larger, she could die if she tries to have the puppies without a c-section..so spaying is the best option..much cheaper than a c-section!

    • You have not stated if ur dog was in season(heat) when she got out. If she wasn`t u have nothing to worry about, if she was, its a good possibility that she got pregnant. Usually her nipples will start to enlarge and tummy will begin to bulge after a couple of weeks. If u must know sooner, a vet should be able to answer ur question.

    • take her to the vet. signs of dogs having puppies are: whining, slowing down and taking her time, belly getting big & gettiing more weight. (the last 2 could happened to even male dogs; they may be just fat!) also maybe they got into a fight or something. Try not to force her to run about and let her take her time.also you have got to be careful as if it was a massive dog, they wont be able to pass throught her and she'll have a tough time.
