I'm thinking mine was about 40 lbs.

It's kinda hard to tell you that, because Border Collies differ GREATLY in size, some are about 35 lbs full grown, some can get to 60 lbs full grown.How big are his parents? He will be around their size.My Border Collie is 54 lbs at 7 1/2 months old.Just make sure he isn't too skinny or overweight.
