Why does my ALAPAHA BLUE BLOOD BULLDOG/AMERICAN BULLDOG ears stand up?

I been trying to find anything regarding why my bulldogs ears stand up and the only bulldog breed that does is a french bulldogI been trying to find anything regarding why my bulldogs ears stand up and the only bulldog breed that does is a french bulldog, No this is not a mut both her parents are registered and the both are from the olde english line to bulldogs still equal a bulldog if that were the case all bulldogs aremutts which they are not it doesn't stand all the time just when she is listening and I've had her since birth her ears were never clipped she is the only one in the litter

When dogs ears stand up that usually mean that they got cliped when they were little. My dogs ears are small and they stand straight up. I asked why and thats why!! So I hoped I helped. Please Give Me Points.

Your dog is a cross between these breeds? There is no prediction with mutts and they are a crap shot when it comes to how they will look and act. It also might be that the dog is "badly bred" not bred to the standard if they are pure breds. Hey my name is Krystal too : )

Bully breeds are awesome, But you never know what type of ears they will have. Always good to get them cropped anyways.

I don't know some mix of dogs do that. Even if both parents don't have that. some breeds of dogs had that bred out or into them so the gene may still be in them.
