Your best bet is always to start with the National Breed Club and ask for breeder referrals. Go to UKC shows and locate reputable breeders and talk to them about getting on their waiting list for upcoming litters:http://akkaoa.org/

The breed is not very common in the US and it may be hard to find.. your best bet is to the breed club, which the first answer provided the link to..dont be surprised if you dont find a breeder in your state, you may have to have a pup shipped to you from another state to obtain one.A hard to find breed of dog? I'd expect to pay well over $1,000 to obtain a pet quality one.

I cant tell you and exact price the puppy will be but I can tell you they will not be cheap probably $900 and up, and if you cant find a breeder you like you may have to get on a waiting list and have a puppy flown to you because it is a newer breed and there arent that many breeders yet.
