Was looking for someone in the area of Mass, USA to give me a location to get from adoption, pound, breeder, anything where I could find an Alaskan Klee Kai near my area.Petfinder only seems to have 3 of them. and none are babies. I want to raise a dog not buy a old one. Can't find any rescue's or shelters with one. If any information on one please contact me I would love to give one a home.
My boss bought one in Connecticut, though I am not sure where. Have you done a google search for Alaskan Klee Kai breeders? Are there any listed on Petfinder.com?
AKKs are very hard to come by in general. You may have travel quite a distance to find your dog.The breed club has a registry:http://www.akkaoa.org/breeders.htmlThere is a breeder listed in Mass. but the website isn't active, you could try contacting them through email to see if the kennel is still around
Have you tried on the site pet finders. Or else do a search on the Alaskan Klee Kai rescue groups and contact them they do make arrangements to transported the animals to good homes.
