Alaskan Klee Kai puppies?

I really want an Alaskan Klee Kai for Christmas. But I can't seem to find any breeders nearby.. I live in Tennessee.. and my father doesn't want to have a puppy shipped to us because he thinks people shouldn't ship puppies.. plus he wants to make sure it's a legitimate breeder.. Does anyone know where I can find a Klee Kai breeder somewhere in driving distance of east TN.?

Klee Klais are very rare in the US.Your best resource is the Klee Klai club for a breeder referral.. they have a code of ethics and any breeders they refer you to must meet those ethics.http://akkaoa.org/I see ONE breeder listed in TN http://akkaoa.org/breeders.htmlADDEDPetfinder is a good resource.. but you do have to be somewhat careful.. MOST rescues and shelters listed on that site are legit.. but there are a few that are not! You cant base your experience with one particular shelter/rescue with the entire site tho.. Petfinder itself is not affiliated with the rescues.. its merely a website offering a service of allowing shelters and rescues to post their adoptable dogs.You wont likely find many Klee Klais on petfinder tho.. they are such a rare breed.. I looked last week for someone, and I think there were only 3 KK's listed!
