no, if blue is in the eyes it is not a pure blooded malamute. I know this as I had huskys as a kid, and I also added a link to a breeders site to confirm it for you. Please read under "Appearances"Blue is a cross breed or a siberian, sorry.
The Alaskan Malamute can have blue eyes but according to the breed standard the eyes should be brown the darker the better and blue eyes are a disqualifying fault in showing.
any breed of dog "can" have blue eyes. However it is a fault in most breeds. No one can tell you if your dog really is a malamute or not based on eye color.
