Can I have my alaskan malamute pull me on a sled?

I'm asking if i bought an actual harness for my alaskan malamute and bought a sled from walmart... would my dog be able to pull me behind it?I weigh about 165, this dog breed is known for its ability to pull sleds in alaska and canada

Um any dog could. But I wouldn't recommend it. It can be very harmful to a dogs bones and muscles. It can give them arthritis and many other painful things.

Most definatly, its what they were originally bred for, so long as youre not to heavy and your dog is having fun you can do it

Your dog is a pet and would require a lot of training to pull effectively. In the real situation the lead dog has a lot to do with the training of new dogs by snarling and nipping. You would have to learn that part. Then you'd have two roles and that wouldn't work. But your dog could definitely pull you because that's what he's designed to do. But because he's a pet, he'd spend half the time looking at you and wagging his tail. Good luck!
