Accuracy of dog breed selectors...? Dog Breed Discussions
*Note: this is strictly for my own amusement and curiosity because I have a cold and can't sleep *I'm curious to see how accurate dog breed selectors are when trying to see which breeds you are most/least compatible with. Here's how it works...Go to this link: http://animal.discovery.com/breedselector/dogselector.doFill out the questions as if you were searching for your ideal dog. Then post your results (top 8)Then, go back an fill out the questions again, but this time fill in the exact opposite answers that you filled out the first time (ie, if you said you wanted a high energy dog the first time, fill in that you want a mellow couch potato this time) This should show which breeds you're least compatible with. Then post the top 8 results. How accurate are your results? Was your favorite breed the #1 dog you were compatible with, or at least in the top 8? Were you surprised at what other dogs you are supposedly compatible with? Were you surprised at which ones your not compatible with?My results:1.Boxer2.Glen of Imaal terrier3.Staff Bull terrier4. Vizsla5.Dalmatian6.German Pinscher7.Havanese8.LabradorToy Fox Terrier (which are my breed) were number 11 on the list, but still a good match at 97% compatible :)Least Comaptible:1.Pekingese2.Chow Chow3.Sealyham Terrier4.Afghan Hound5.Great Pyrenees6.Lhasa Apso7.Basset Hound8.Bedlington terrierNot surprised at some, ie Pekingese or Chow Chow, but I've now a Pyr a Bedlington and a Basset and liked them...LOL it's supposed to say "Toy Fox Terrier, which IS my breed..."Wow I apparently lose my grammatical skills when I'm hopped up on cold medicine...
