Where can I find an American Eskimo Puppy in near Minnesota?

My family has been looking for an American Eskimo puppy for a while now, and we are having no luck. Since they are a fairly rare breed, we weren't able to find any at the humane societies, and it's tough trying to get a hold of specific breed rescue organizations, let alone find one near Minnesota. Does anyone have any resources?Thanks!

Look at this- the national breed rescue is inundated right now with dogs and puppies from a raid on a puppy mill in Oregon. Contact them and they may have something available. Don't worry if they aren't physically close to you. Most national breed rescues have volunteers all over who will come do a home check, etc... to approve you and then they will take care of transporting the dog to it's new home.http://www.aedca.org/
