No.It is a lie that dogs with black spotted tongues must be mixed with Chows.My Border Collie has black spots on his tongue, my sisters Foxhound has them, and my friend's GSD has them. Any breed or mix can have black spots on their tongue.It's just a sign of good pigmentation.
Mixed breeds or purebreed has black spotes on their tongues. I have 2 jack russell min pin mix 1 min pin & 1 german shepard black lab mix and they all have pink tongues and the roof of their mouth is black
