    • The anatolian shepherd i would choose that one. They are very loyal and will protect to the death. They are very intelligent and need to be trained early in age as with other guard dogs. Go to the website below to learn more.

    • I have 2 Alaskan Malamutes. They are pack animals and will turn neurotic if they do not live in a pack. They are wonderful dogs but not a good choice for a guard dog. Please go to amrone.org and read about this breed before you decide which dog you want. This will be a very unhappy and potentially unhappy dog.Having said that my male is 2 yrs old and a wonderful guard dog. He doesn't bark (most don't) and keeps animals and people from entering our property just by being his 141 pound scary looking self. His little sister is 7 months and she is following in his footsteps. If they bark there is a huge problem. They are pack members and live happily with our family.

    • Akita. But my preference is a Rottweiler that is properly trained. just their sheer size is often enough to scare someone off. A dalmation makes a good guard dog as well as they tend to be sneaky and get behind the culprit and bite at their heels. They also seem innocent untill someone threatens you

    • Almost all of the dogs you mention are good for guarding. Personally I have found a small dog large dog combination works well. Smaller dogs such as terriers are very alert while the large dog is there to provide the muscle. Go with the largest of the 4 you are thinking off, many people don't mess with a large dog just due to its size.

    • Well Alaskan malamutes are a very loving and protective breed and there are a lot of people that use them for guarding so i would think they would be the best choice. Also i know you said to not inform u on anything else but what u asked but just please make sure that u love him and care for him and don't just treat him like a guard dog because they're more than that. He'll love you so much if u just love him and you don't deprive him of attention.hope u and your new dog will be best friends :)
