What dog(s) is/are compatible with a Basset Hound?

We are about to get a Basset Hound puppy. Our plan is to let the dog grow a little before getting it a play mate. What other breed is compatible with a Basset?

Seriously, ANY dog can be compatible with a Basset Hound as long as both are well trained and socialized. It doesn't matter.

Any breed of dog that was well socialized and trained should be compatible with your Basset.Good luck!
