Where can I find a Afghan Hound breeder?

I want to start showing and breeding in conformation and the breed I want to begin with is the Afghan Hound. I have already checked the AKC site but I couldn't any breeders listed so if anyone knows any reputable breeder off the top of their head can you please post a link to their website so I may contact them.

Very risky breed to start with, they are a lot of work.I absolutely hate stripping coats, it's hard to get them even.Start with the Afghan Hound Club of America and start from there.http://clubs.akc.org/ahca/

Have you tried the national breed club? http://clubs.akc.org/ahca/That would have been a better place to check first. There is one user on here that has Afghans but is rarely on, so may not see this question. But I agree this will be a tough breed to start out with. Hounds generally are a tough group to start out with.
