What do I need to do to keep my Basset Hound's ears clean?

I have been looking on a few websites and have seen there is a solution that you can buy or one that you can make at home to clean their ears. I was just wondering what all of you fellow basset hound owners use and what exactly I have to do to clean them. Thanks!

There are too many brands of ear cleaners on the market to name them all. Just go to your local pet store and pick a brand. I have always liked Gold Medal Clean Ears. Just follow the directions on the bottle.

I don't own a Bassett Hound but I've found the ear wipes at Petco really useful for my dogs.
