No dog is cheap just think of the after care and supplies the dog will need, collars,leashes, food, medical bills ect... Look on http://www.petfinder.com or http://www.adoptapet.com Most cost $60 or less and that comes with shots, worming and a spay and neuter.
Check your animal shelter and local rescues. Almost half of the dogs that get dropped off are purebreds. It may take a little while, but before you know it, someone will want to get rid of a basset hound pup. You can also search online at:http://www.petfinder.com

A basset hound shelter. For every pup you adopt one or more at a shelter gets put down.They do have basset hound shelters that house abandoned or unwanted bassets(I don't know how they could be unwanted- they are so cute).Hope this helps.Good Luck!
The only place you will get a dog for "cheap" is shelter or rescue www.petfinder.com It certainly will NOT be a "good show dog".. show dogs certainly are not "cheap"You're not likely going to find a purebred dog for free.
Geez. You just got 2 'yokiepoos', and already had 3 cats & another dog. When the h*ll will it be enough for you? No wonder you need to get one cheap or free, you'll need to take out a second mortgage just to care for them properly!
