When can I give a dog a bath after being given an anti-rabies vaccine?

I heard that a dog should not be given a bath after being given a anti-rabies shot. After how many days can it be possibly safe to give him a bath?

Anytime, just don't bath your dog more them once a month. It drys out their skin !

I can't think of any medical reason for that. However, I'd make sure your dog has calmed down from the vet trip before further stressing him out with a bath.

I'd wait a couple of days, just to be sure the dog has not any side effect from the vaccine. That's why I usually give my dog a bath the day before the vet's appointment.

You can bathe your dog immediately following vaccination, as long as your dog does not have a history of allergic reactions to vaccinations.
