What to do about dog's aggressive behaviour towards other dogs?

We have 2 females and 1 male. The 2 year old female is randomly aggressive to our dogs and always aggressive towards new dogs. They all stay in their separate dog boxes during the day and she tries to attack the 7 year old female next to her. We have tried "making" her socialize with other dogs but it hasn't changed anything. Telling her off when she does it doesn't make a difference. How can we stop her behaving this way?

It could be a defense mechanism because she feels insecure. Did you have her since she was a puppy or at a later stage, because she could have a history you don't know of.I'd suggest you go see a dog therapist about this. Like when my dogs are at the dogs park and the leash is still on, they will bark at other dogs, but as soon as I let them free they are ready to play. So make sure she isn't on the leash when you are trying to socialze them. The trick is persistency and consistency. Be persistent and consistent. I know socializing them is not going so well but if you socialize them a little each day and don't miss a day, eventually your 2yr. old will come around, I promise. It will take time though! You can't "make" a dog socialize, you "train" it to accept things. Keeping your dogs in "boxes" during the day is making your dogs aggression worse, and the longer you continue to do this the harder it will be to eliminate the aggressive behavior.
