    • Do you mean tear stains? The black streaks under your dog's eyes? With those, you have to be really consisitent. Check your dogs eyes constantly. If they are wet or crusty, wipe that area for a minute with a damp cloth. When my chihuahua had them, I wiped her eyes at least 3 times everyday. They got lighter then disappeared. This espeicially common in white dogs and small breeds. Small breeds have smaller tear glands and it is more noticable in white dogs. I guess your poodle is small and white:)

    • You can buy wipes from the pet supply store that remove the tear stains from white fur. I've heard they work pretty well. I think there are also wipes for the mouth area, but that area is harder to clean because they get their saliva on the fur, which makes it turn a reddish color. Try the wipes, though.
