How old before a puppy start eatting?

how old before puppies start eatting on there own? i have 10 pit/lab mix puppies that are 2 weeks old, and i dont breed dogs so im just making sure on about how old they should be to start eatting on there own

The pups can be started on gruel when they are 4 weeks old. Gruel is dry or wet puppy food which is soaked in either supplemental puppy formula or water and them mashed until it is the consistency of a thinned oatmeal. The pups will also still be nursing from the Dam. You should have taken the entire litter and the Dam to the vets for a wellness exam 12 hours after the last pup was born. The vet would have given you information on rearing a litter and the care of the Dam. If the pups are 2 weeks old they should be de-wormed and then every 2 weeks thereafter until the pups go to their new homes... You get the medication for the vet, is inexpensive, and will get rid of any parasites the pups may have. OTC de-wormers do not get rid of all the different types of parasites so only get it from your vet.
