Is there headgear to protect a dogs eye from scratching?

We have a boxer who's eye requires medication, if we don't keep the large plastic cone on her she will scratch, any alternatives?

Is this just a temporary situation or something that the dog will need eye medication for a long time?There are these things called "Doggles" you may want to look into. I second the doggles. All three of my boys have a pair to keep things from getting in their eyes while we are running or in the woods or anything like that.
