Not that I'm aware of...at least not in my breed.

No, not that I know of. In cats, Black and Orange are both linked to X, white is "independent". Females are XX, so they can display both black AND orange. Males only have one X, so they can only display black or orange (calico males technically have a chromosone defect where they are XXY, "she-males" in a way). I have never heard of coloration being linked to chromosones in dogs. Every color I can think of can be displayed in both males and females. Both sexes can be tri-colors, dilutes, brindles, sables, etc...
