    • like anything it will take time , you cat will get used to any animal any size it will just take time, once the cat gets use top something else around the house things will be fineregards x Kitti x

    • like any cat they have to get use to dogs ..The small will be ok..she will adjust to it..I have 3 dogs and 7 cats and believe me the cats got use to them.. they sometimes run but cats can jump up and get out of the dogs way..Then later on they will sleep together..

    • well any animal you bring in to a house you must introduce them slowly. as its new. labs are generally really hyper and i can understand her being scared. but if she has never incontered a dog any cat would be scared. give them time to adjust it can take a few monthes before they learn to live with each other.

    • Chic pups are not as friendly as labs and so might me quite snappy towards her, I would say wait until your cat has passed away until you get a dog, it's just plain mean on the poor puss. Just my opinion =) best of luck, Princess Lola x

    • A dog is a dog is a dog. She'll be scared of any dog initially. They normally get over it.I think you're better off not getting a dog though. My mum bought a dog and she already had a cat and although they don't try to hurt her, they chase her for the fun and she is very nervous and won't walk on the floor anymore but keep on tables and chairs etc. Unless you are prepared to give the dog a good telling off if it chases her then its probably not very fair on her.

    • Even if your cat is very tiny, a chihuahua puppy should be smaller. When I sell my pups they usually weigh about 1.5 at 8-9 weeks. That is very small. I think the cat and chi should get along great together. Chihuahuas are wonderful!!!!

    • ANY small breed in theory should be fine - however i would be more worried about the cat harming the dog than he other way round {Claws and puppy's just don't mix!}Also any dog if it was that determined could hurt or even kill a cat its just a case of watching them like a responsible owner and making sure the puppy has been socialised with cats preferably before you pick it up!
