Is it true that Greyhound dogs can only eat rice pudding?

I bought one two weeks ago, his name is Doofla and so far he has turned his nose up at the steaming hot bowls of rice pudding I serve him. I don't know what to do? I fear if I give him something else like hotdogs or super noodles he may explode or something

LOL. Then just feed him dog food!!! Dogs aren't suppose to eat human food except fruits and veggies. I mean once in awhile they can have human food but remember no chocolate!!

Have you tried Ambrosia? And try him with it a little bit cooler than 'steaming hot'?Just a thought...

No feed him proper food, dont feed him crap like hot dogs. Feed him dry food or raw. I dont knowwho gave you the info but no dogs should eat rice pudding!

Ever heard of dog food? So you haven't fed him for 2 weeks? Maybe someone should call the humane society. You obviously should not have a dog.

dude dont feed him/her that junk thats like feed a 2 year old nothing but candy for 2 months stright.....tip buy it some dog food and u wont have any probelm go to your local pet shop ask what to feed it buy it and your ok ps i dont think dogs "explode or something"

I like rice pudding.Alright, I'm not a greyhound, but that's a minor issue. If I was I'd think it was lovely.Try mixing a spoon of raspberry jam in it. That'll sweeten it up a bit.

you are a fool dog food and dog biscuits boiled chicken without the bones hot dogs and super noodles are not good for humans let alone a grey hound you need to buy a book on greyhounds i have never heard such foolishness and also clean water twice a day its wonder its alive please research on the net for advice on this breed of dog you must be having a laugh

Dogs aren't supposed to eat rice pudding. They need a high protein diet which is available everywhere in tins of dogfood and in bags of it. Feeding him rice pudding will not give him the correct nutritional intake. If you're worried about what to give your dog to eat then ask your vet. Boiled chicken and rice are options. Make sure they're not too hot so the dog's tongue and nose doesn't get scalded.

are you serious? I have a friend, who bought a dobe from me, also has greyhounds, they are on puppy food for life b/c they need the higher calorie content. Feed him dog food, or research the raw diet and go that route, but forget the rice pudding!
