A knot on the back of the neck on my boxer puppy. I notices it a couple of days ago, it is getting larger.?

I have a 4 month old male boxer. I noticed he has a knot or bump on the back of his neck close to his shoulders. The knot is getting bigger and bigger. It does not seem to bother him and doesn't seem to hurt him when I touch it. Has anyone ever had something like this with their dogs?

that could be a tumor take your dog to the vet

I would call your vet,it most likely isn't serious,but it could be very serious

Boxer are prone to tumors! I would take him to the vet since it is getting larger. Good Luck

definitly call your vet. it could be something serious or something as simple as a swelling that needs to be drained

It could be something serious like a tumor or a cyst. Get the dog to the vet please

Tumors don't discriminate by age. Have your pup checked, especially if it seems to be growing.

it may not be a knot. that's the best case scenario. take him to the vet. it could be a cyst or a tumor.

Take him to the vet immediately. If it's cancer (tumor) maybe it can be removed before it takes over. Hope it isn't the big C. It could also be a noncancerous tumor. Only the vet can tell you what it is.

It could very well be a tumor. Boxers are tumor proned dogs. We had one when I was younger who got a tumor in her mouth when she was about 4 years. We didnt take care of it then, by the time she was 10 it had taken over her mouth and ate away at her teeth, if we had taken care of it when we first saw the lump, she would have been with us longer.
