3 month old puppy has green snot coming out of nose?

I recently got a 3 month old puppy from the humane society. I took him to the vet 3 days ago and he gave me some antibiotics for an URI, but when I took him to the vet his snot wasn't green. Starting yesterday his snot turned to a lime green color and hes been sneezing. He has another appointment in 5 days, but I don't know if I should go ahead and take him in now or just wait until his next appointment. Any advice?

this could be a common cold but colds can kill dogs so do as much research as you can and goes back to the vet if it's condition gets worse

I'd take it to the vet now if possible. If not, then as soon as possible and keep an eye on the pup to make sure it doesn't get any worse. Better safe than sorry.

Infections cause snot/mucous to change color, this is normal being that he has an URI.You should probably try to get him in earlier to be on the safe side.

Let the antibiotics run their course. It doesn't cure them over night. Trust me, things will get better soon.

You can't take any chances with a puppy this young. I would try and bring forward your appointment with the Vet. He needs to be checked over asap as this could very quickly turn into Pneumonia if not treated immediately.I hope he makes a quick recovery.

i would go back to the vet as soon as possible. when was his last shot for Distemper? it could be that... if thats the case it is very serious. better safe than sorry...
